Seamus Gildner is a graduate student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a Program Associate Intern at Global:SF.
Seamus Gildner is a Program Associate Intern at Global:SF and a graduate student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, where he is currently pursuing a Masters in Translation and Localization Management. Prior to joining Global:SF, Seamus spent 3 years working for local government in Japan, engaging in sister city exchange activities and event management for a number of international festivals. He is currently interning as a translator for the Ashinaga Foundation, a Japanese NPO that provides educational and career opportunities for orphaned students in Japan and sub-Saharan Africa. Passionate about environmental issues and sustainability, Seamus is also assisting Global:SF with their Food Innovation Tours to the Nordics and Japan. Seamus is honored to be a part of the wonderful team putting together the Forest Innovation Summit in October.
