Meet Jessica,
Jessica is an architect and innovation leader with extensive experience in sustainable urban development, wood-based building systems and industrial processes.
She has worked as architect and business developer within the timber industry in Sweden for almost 20 years.
Since 2017 Jessica has joined the Wood city Sweden organization as Executive director focusing on disseminating knowledge about sustainable timber construction and supporting the public sector in the green transition. She has lead projects and partnerships between research, industry, and the public sector with a focus on climate-neutral and regenerative solutions.
Just recently Jessica returned to Sweden after a year as Senior Wallenberg Fellow at Nordic Innovation House in Palo Alto working to bridge the gap between Sweden and the US within sustainable building solutions, timber building, forestry industry and industrialized construction.
