Alexis Roberts is a graduate student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies Monterey and Program Associate Intern at Global:SF.

Alexis Roberts is a graduate student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies Monterey and Program Associate Intern at Global:SF. She studies International Policy and Development with a specialization in Monitoring and Evaluation. Prior to this, Alexis served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Lesotho in the education sector, volunteering primarily as a teacher. With Global:SF, Alexis will work on two main projects, the first being the Forest Innovation Summit to improve the future of sustainable forestry by building a bridge between the Swedish and Californian Forest sectors. The second project Alexis will work on is the Global:SF Women’s Initiative, which aims to close the gender gap for women entrepreneurs by providing tailored business services that will ultimately create sustainable, inclusive, and equitable economic growth in the Bay Area. Alexis is passionate about public-private partnerships, sustainable innovation, gender equality, and environmental health. Alexis is a Presidential Management Fellow finalist and will pursue a career with the federal government after graduation.
