Courtney Cagle
Courtney Cagle is the Manager of the California Resilient Careers in Forestry program at the Foundation for California Community Colleges. In this role, she works with institutions of higher education, community-based organizations, federal and state agencies, and forestry employers to increase the capacity of forestry training programs, and to streamline placement of qualified workers into high quality jobs. Courtney has overseen the development of a comprehensive communication and recruitment strategy to drive interest in forestry careers and increase enrollment in training programs. She has been administering federally funded workforce development programs since 2017, serving as contract administrator, program developer, and technical assistance provider for organizations and institutions across California. She holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
