Christian Eggleton
Christian was Vice President and co-founder of FRST Corp and is now the Director of Forest Carbon Verification at TÜV SÜD America.
He is also an RPF and graduate of UC Berkeley with Master of City and Regional Planning and BA of Environmental Economics and Policy degrees. His Master’s was focused on GIS and as a graduate student, he taught graduate-level GIS classes at UC Berkeley.
His work experience includes extensive field forestry, geographic information science, and forestry planning and permitting based in the Sierra Nevada. He specializes in forest inventory design and implementation, growth and yield modeling, GIS, GPS data acquisition, database management, and spatial modeling.
Christian leads the company’s GHG offset verification line of business and all quantitative and spatial analysis project work. Including his work for another consulting forestry firm, he has performed the duties of the Sr. GIS Analyst for a combined total of 14 years.
Additionally, he has over 14 years of experience with CA Forest Practice Rules, including writing and administering timber harvesting plans, nonindustrial timber management plans, exemptions, and state-funded cost share programs in consulting forestry. He is also CA Air Resources Board accredited Lead Offset Verifier and has been part of a verification team for over 150 forest carbon offset projects. He maintains a current CAL FIRE Archaeological Training Certificate for Resource Professionals.
