Merritt Jenkins is CEO and Co-Founder of Kodama Systems, a venture-backed forest restoration company developing technology to improve in-woods productivity and utilize waste biomass. Kodama deploys high-speed internet connectivity at remote logging sites, outfits machinery with autonomous capabilities, and is constructing a first-of-a-kind “wood vault” for high-durability carbon storage. Prior to co-founding Kodama, Merritt was a co-founder at Pattern Ag, an agricultural technology company that has built the world’s largest metagenomics database. Merritt has an MBA from MIT, a master's degree in robotics from Carnegie Mellon, and a BA/BE in environmental studies and mechanical engineering from Dartmouth College.
