Peter Tittmann is a forest carbon and remote sensing specialist with nearly 20 years of experience across research, investment, and advisory work in California's forest sector. He holds a PhD in Geography from UC Davis, where his research focused on aerial laser scanning for forest biomass measurement.
Peter has led analytics teams supporting over $500M in natural capital investments and currently runs Arbos, an independent forestry advisory practice focused on carbon feasibility, timber analytics, and biomass supply chain strategy. He chairs the W3C Biomass Open Origin Standard for Tracking (BOOST) Community Group, an interagency effort advancing transparency and traceability in biomass and forest product supply chains.
