We’re pleased to welcome Magnus Thor, Director of Research and Innovation at Skogforsk - the Forestry Research Institute of Sweden, to the Forest Innovation Summit.

Magnus has been with Skogforsk since 1992, serving as both researcher and research manager. His work focuses on forest operations, wood supply, and the control of Heterobasidion root rot, contributing to the development of more efficient and sustainable forestry practices.

He is also a fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (KSLA) and is involved in a project at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) focused on the future value and role of forests in society.
