John Andersen is the Director of Forest Policy for Mendocino and Humboldt Redwood Companies and a Registered Professional Forester. The companies manage over 440,000 acres of redwood and Douglas fir forest with a strong focus on environmental stewardship.
John has more than 30 years of experience sustainably managing forests across California, from Santa Cruz County to Humboldt County. He currently chairs the California Forest Carbon Coalition and the California Biomass Energy Alliance. He holds a BS in Forestry and Natural Resources from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
