We’re excited to welcome Emma Berglund, Forest Director for EU and International Affairs at the Swedish Forest Industries Federation, to the summit.
Emma has extensive experience in European forest policy and international affairs. She previously led the umbrella organization for Europe’s private forest owners in Brussels and has also worked with the Federation of Swedish Family Forest Owners.
She is a forester by training and holds a dual master’s degree in forestry from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and the University of British Columbia. Emma is a Fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (KSLA) and contributes to science-policy dialogue and international perspectives on forestry.
Her passion for forests and their role in building a more sustainable future has been a guiding thread throughout her career.
