His work focuses on industrial transition, cross-sector integration, and the development of competitive forest-based value chains in a low-carbon economy.
He serves as Focus Area Leader for “Forest Climate Benefits and System Analyses,” where he leads strategic research on the climate contribution of forests within broader socio-technical systems.
