Pacific Northwest Regional Manager, Forest Stewardship Council
Alex Thoman is the Pacific Northwest Regional Manager at the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). He focuses on building strong relationships with both current and prospective certificate holders, supporting certification growth, and strengthening the value of FSC across the region. His work also involves maintaining deep knowledge of FSC-certified operations throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Prior to joining FSC, he worked as a forester in the private sector, managing timberlands across Northern California. This experience has given him a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within forest management today.
